A FEW FAVORITES
Images are cropped and displayed at reduced resolution.A documentary approach keeps things honest, while an editorial eye brings intention to what’s already there. From the rhythm of a kitchen to the energy of a volunteer team, I capture photographs that feel true to the work and help people connect with it.
THE WAY I SEE THINGS
WORKING WITH OTHERS

A Chicagoland native, I earned my BA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My nearly seven years in the nonprofit space have spanned operations, multichannel marketing, and mission-driven storytelling. Having worked on the client side, I know what makes an image useful (not just beautiful).
Now based in New York City, I’m working toward a Photography Certificate through Rhode Island School of Design Continuing Education, studying everything from artistry and technique to equipment, software, and digital asset management.
I’m happiest at board game nights, solving analog puzzles, planning and scrapbooking my travels, or getting lost in contemporary fiction.

The number of final images varies depending on the project. I carefully review and edit each gallery, selecting the photographs that best capture the day.

I’ll keep an eye on the forecast and stay in touch leading up to the shoot. If weather creates challenges, I’ll work with you to adjust the plan or find another option.
